Bring your family and friends and press your own apple cider!
After Labor Day, we will offer the public access to a twin-barrel cider press, a fresh harvest of apples, jugs, and all the instruction necessary for your afternoon of fun, pressing your cider. Press as much as you want, and pay only for what you squeeze. This is a great opportunity to introduce your family to a basic country experience in a pristine setting.
The orchard is only a mile from downtown Chelan in the great state of Washington. It spans 10 acres on top of a hill with magnificent vistas of clear blue Lake Chelan and the surrounding mountains. Bring a picnic lunch and eat under the trees, overlooking Chelan and the lake. Our regular prices are $5.50 per gallon, and $4.75 if you bring your own jug. We will provide complete directions to the press site, and someone there will help. U-Press Cider will be open from 12 to 5 p.m. As an owner in the orchard you will receive a 20% discount off the above listed price.
The cider freezes very well and will last over the winter easily in the frozen condition. It's a delicious addition to Thanksgiving dinners.
